As I've come to understand it, Connect's mailservers appeared to be blocking MSN and Hotmail addresses as well as a number of other popular public domains including ALL Kidanet.com.fj addresses as well as ones originating from Kidanet hosted machines. It appears that Connect had been testing new SPAM filters or tweaking their ownmailserers. Obviously, something was not configured properly.

As of Wed, there were still issues according to people I had spoken to although the bulk of problems addressed late Monday afternoon.

As for the line in that email which reads "it appears that Conect’s mailservers are blocking KIDANET hosted emails..", it's entirely accurate. There hasn't been any public communication that I've seen from Connect on the issue.
